⚠️ As a steroidal-alkaloid bulb, keep to modest traditional/formula doses (overdose can cause nausea and other effects). In TCM it is classically INCOMPATIBLE with aconite (the 'eighteen incompatibilities'), so it must not be combined with aconite-type herbs. It suits phlegm-HEAT (thick yellow phlegm), not cold-phlegm or dry cough without heat.
