Helianthemum nummularium (common rockrose) is a low, yellow-flowered Cistaceae (rockrose-family) plant. Rich in astringent polyphenols like its Cistus relatives, it has minor traditional use as an astringent and wound herb; it is best known today as one of Dr Bach's flower remedies ('Rock Rose', for terror and panic) and a component of 'Rescue Remedy'.عبّاد الشمس الصخري (Helianthemum nummularium) نبتة منخفضة صفراء الزهر من فصيلة اللادن. وهي غنية بالبوليفينولات القابضة كأقاربها اللادن، ولها استعمالٌ تقليدي طفيف عشبةً قابضة وللجروح؛ وأشهرها اليوم أحد علاجات بَخ الزهري الزهرية («روك روز» للرعب والهلع) وعنصرٌ في «ريسكيو ريميدي».

Used in minor folk medicine, like other rockroses, as an astringent tea for diarrhoea and digestive upset, as a gargle/wash for the mouth, throat and skin, and on minor wounds; the flowers are used as the Bach flower remedy 'Rock Rose' for acute fear, terror and panic.يُستعمل في طبٍّ شعبي طفيف، كسائر ورود الصخر، شاياً قابضاً للإسهال واضطراب الهضم وغرغرةً/غسولاً للفم والحلق والجلد وعلى الجروح الطفيفة؛ وتُستعمل الأزهار علاج بَخ الزهري «روك روز» للخوف الحادّ والرعب والهلع.

A gentle plant. As an astringent tea its tannins are mildly hard on a sensitive stomach in strong doses.
