Research
Glycosmis pentaphylla is documented for antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and anticancer (cytotoxic) activity, much of it attributed to its carbazole and quinazoline alkaloids, which are of pharmacological interest. This supports its traditional use for fevers, liver, worms, skin and inflammation; evidence is chiefly phytochemical and preclinical.
