⚠️ Marasmius oreades (fairy ring champignon, Scotch bonnet) is a small tan mushroom that grows in rings on lawns, pastures and grassland, prized as a sweet-smelling, tasty edible (usually only the caps are eaten; the stems are tough). It has antioxidant and antimicrobial activity. Only eat if a qualified expert confirms the identification.
