Helichrysum italicum (Italian immortelle, curry plant) is an aromatic silver herb famed for its skin-soothing essential oil. Studies isolated arzanol from Helichrysum italicum and showed it is a strong anti-inflammatory and anti-HIV-1 compound, and the plant's extracts and oil have documented antioxidant, antimicrobial and skin-repair activity — supporting its popular use for the skin, bruises and inflammation. Cautionتحذيرات
Generally very safe, especially on the skin. Daisy-family allergy is possible. The concentrated essential oil should be diluted before applying and not taken internally undiluted. Very well tolerated as a cosmetic and topical remedy.آمنة جداً عموماً، خاصّةً على الجلد. والتحسّس لفصيلة الأقحوان ممكن. ويجب تخفيف الزيت الطيّار المركّز قبل وضعه وعدم أخذه داخلياً غير مخفّف. وجيّدة التحمّل جداً مستحضراً تجميلياً وموضعياً.
