It may temporarily give urine a reddish tint (harmless, from its pigments). Some anthraquinone dyes have raised long-term safety questions, so avoid prolonged high-dose use; avoid in pregnancy.قد يُكسِب البول لوناً محمرّاً مؤقتاً (غير ضارّ، من أصبغتها). وأثارت بعض أصبغة الأنثراكينون تساؤلاتٍ حول السلامة بعيدة المدى، فيُتجنَّب الاستعمال المطوّل بجرعاتٍ عالية؛ ويُتجنَّب في الحمل.
