Cautionتحذيرات
Ayahuasca contains monoamine oxidase inhibitors (harmine, harmaline) combined with the potent psychedelic DMT. There is a SERIOUS risk of life-threatening serotonin syndrome or hypertensive crisis when combined with SSRIs, SNRIs, other antidepressants (including MAOIs), triptans, dextromethorphan, tramadol, stimulants, or tyramine-rich foods (aged cheese, cured meats) — such agents must be discontinued well in advance. Contraindicated in cardiovascular disease, uncontrolled hypertension, and in anyone with a personal or family history of psychosis, schizophrenia or bipolar disorder.
